Yes, in two weeks I'm on my way to Seattle!

I'm going to arrive around noon on Thursday, April 1st, and stay downtown until Sunday, April 4th. Then I'll head for the Olympic Peninsula for a few days of hiking and sightseeing, before joining fellow fangirls/boys on Thursday, April 8th, for Pacificon 2010 aka Bitchin' Party! As it's going to be my first con ever, I'm at the same time ecstatic and totally nervous. :)

But now to the questions I have for you local fangirls/boys:

1.) What insider tips do you have for me? Where should I eat, drink, shop for books,...? What are the places to go?

2.) Anyone interested in a get-together while I'm staying in downtown Seattle?

HI! i meant to reply to this AGES ago, but i've been out of town.

there are SO many good places downtown. if elliott bay books isn't in the process of moving and is still open in pioneer square, you should try to make it over there before they move. then there's the pike place market, of course. as for food and drink? where to even START? matt's in the market is wonderful, as is union, le pichet, typhoon, the crumpet shop, the pan-africa market, serious pie, vessel. um, i could go on and on. i am definitely a food tourist and i love my city.

that weekend is a little bit action-packed for me, but i think i'm free on friday. would you like to wander around or share a meal or get a drink that day?

I have to confess, I was hoping you would reply. *g*

And of course I would like to meet up with you. Maybe we could eat at one of the places you recommended? When would you have time on Friday?

Also: Thanks for all the interesting tips!

i am free basically all day friday, as far as i know. and luzula is also around that day, as she's flying in early. maybe we could make it a group outing? i do believe there will be other fangirls around as well.

Oh, I like the idea: The more the merrier! Doesn't live keerawa in Seattle, too?
